STOP USING ALUMINUM FOIL IN FOODS - MEDICAL EXPERT WARNS

Almost all of us use aluminum foil for food wrapping and food cooking. A recent study reveals that this habit of our causes various health issues and it is said to be lasting. It is also learned that aluminum has negative effects on the function of the brain as it is considered a neurotoxic heavy metal. Alzheimer's disease is also linked to this aluminum metal, as exposure to this causes mental decline. Either memory loss, balance and coordination or body control.

This study also concludes that using aluminum foil in cooking affects the bones. As aluminum accumulates in the bones it replaces the calcium minerals that and results in its deficiency.

These same experts have related cooking with aluminum foil , especially grilling, to pulmonary fibrosis and other respiratory problems as a result of aluminum particles inhalation.

Most of us are still unaware that when aluminum foil is used in high temperature cooking, especially when using spices and vegetables such as tomatoes as some of the aluminum particles sticks directly to the food which we could consume.

A Chemical Engineering expert at the American University of Sharjah, Dr Essam Zubaidy, studied the effects of aluminum foil used in cooking and concluded that meals cooked in them contains up to 400mg of aluminum. This is definitely dangerous to our health as the RDA or recommended daily allowance for aluminum, according to the World Health Organization is only 60mg a day.
