Avocados are one of the most healthiest fruits you can eat. But have you ever opened an avocado and see that it is still unripe and cannot be eaten? A waste of good food. The timing of opening an avocado is quite tricky, that is why we are showing your this trick that you can ripen the avocado in ten minutes!
You will need the following:
- Unripe avocado
- Baking sheet
- Tin foil
Procedure:
- Wrap the whole avocado fruit in a Tin Foil.
- Put it on the baking pan with a baking sheet.
- Place it in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. But If you have a particularly hard avocado this can take much longer, check every five minutes thereafter.
- Remove from the oven when it feels like what a ripe avocado does
- Remove from the foil and Refrigerate, allow to cool.
How it works
Avocados produce ethyene gas which is released slowly to ripen it. The heat and the tin foil covering the avocado speeds up the process and ripens the fruit in a fraction of the normal time.
