GROW ENDLESS SUPPLY OF PEPPERS

They are quite easy to grow, and you can have endless supply of freshly picked peppers every time. You will not need much effort once you have learned how easy it is to grow and maintain them.

PLANTING PEPPERS

The initial step in growing pepper plants is getting a healthy green plant either from the seeds that you have scattered on your pot or a grown plant bought from seedlings store.

Once you have chosen the plant that you want to grow, dig a hole in your garden the sze roughly around 12 inches wide and deep. Fill it with dried cow manure or other garden compost. If you chose a smaller plant, make sure you have enough fertilizer to cover the hole.

Next step is to remove the plant from the pot gently, making sure not to damage the roots and stem of the plant. Place the plant on the hole and make sure to have the lowest part of the leaf is around 2 to 3 inches above the ground. Fill the hole with the plant with compost and gently compact it.

You can also use the original soil dug from the hole to surround the plant and contain the plant watering ring to have the water spread on the plant, thus making sure that the plant gets sufficient water. Continue watering the plant once a day for a week, at which point it should have been settled to grow.

Pepper plants need a sufficient amount of water. You should water the plant from the base close to the soil  and not from the top, as it is susceptible to fungi growth. Water them until all the soil is soaked in water but not too much that it becomes soggy and floating water.
